Job summary

Apotex Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor (Outbound & Fulfillment) to drive high-velocity order execution for CAD 100M+ annual demand, balancing labor across picking zones and shipping docks to meet tight carrier cut-offs and OTIF targets.

You will re-allocate labor, oversee ASN/EDI and BOL accuracy, and coach a team to reduce downtime, while applying Lean/5S to improve efficiency and safety in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required; post-secondary in Supply Chain/Logistics an asset.
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• 3–5 years in warehousing with 1–3 years in a lead or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Dynamically re-allocates labor across Picking, Packing, and Shipping stations to hit hourly throughput targets and meet carrier windows.
• Oversees outbound documentation (BOLs/Manifests) and ASN/EDI transmissions for accuracy.
• Manages flow from bulk storage to pick faces to prevent downtime from stockouts.
• Directs final-stage auditing, coaching on packing, cartonization, and pallet-wrapping for safe transit.
• Analyzes daily order waves to build predictive labor models and re-assigns staff to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Assesses packing material usage and cartonization to reduce dim weight shipping costs.
• Coordinate inbound product receiving when needed.
• Other adhoc duties to maintain warehouse smooth processes.
