Job summary

Apotex is seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage inbound material movements, receipts and internal transfers. You will ensure accurate weighing, labeling, quarantine placement, and SAP updates for GMP production and R&D materials.

You will follow SOPs, work with safety and quality standards, and often operate as part of a team in a fast-paced API warehouse environment. Training and a comprehensive rewards package are provided.

Qualifications

• Maintain safety, cGMP and SOP compliance at all times.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Improve skills by reading memos, SOPs and participating in training.
• Proficient operation of equipment and systems used in API warehouses.
• Willingness to be on-call and perform miscellaneous tasks as directed.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials safely from delivery vehicles and verify against receiving documents.
• Weigh, label, and record materials for GMP production and move to quarantine areas.
• Sample liquids and powders and transfer accordingly with SAP updates.
• Receive non-GMP materials and deliver to designated areas promptly.
• Review SOPs to ensure compliance and seek guidance when unsure.
• Keep Receiving Dock and Raw Material Quarantine areas neat and organized.
• Participate in on-call and additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
