Internal Business Development Representative (Internal BDR)
Location: Vancouver (Hybrid in office 2 days per week)
Full-time (40 hrs per week)

Are you ready to launch your career in tech sales with a fast-moving team that supports higher education? Comm100 is looking for a positive, results-driven Internal Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales team. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, playing a critical role in growing our client base through high-volume outbound calling and lead qualification.
What You'll Do:
  • Make high-volume outbound calls to generate new business opportunities, primarily within the higher education vertical
  • Clearly communicate the value of our product and schedule meetings with key decision-makers
  • Prospect, qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales leads through phone, email and other channels
  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing and product teams to refine messaging and strategy
  • Think on your feet to identify opportunities, overcome objections and build long-term relationships
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and conversion metrics
What We're Looking For:
  • 1-2 years in a BDR, SDR, Sales or customer-facing role (internships or part-time roles count!)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - especially over the phone and email
  • A positive, self-starting attitude with a "no barriers" mindset - you see only opportunities, not obstacles
  • Ability to grasp and articulate the value of SaaS technologies to non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other sales tools
  • A team player who loves connecting with people and building relationships
