Job summary

Adecco Portugal's client, a Canadian distributor of natural and homeopathic health products, seeks a Pharmacy Sales Representative to grow its Ottawa presence. This field-based role emphasizes face-to-face pharmacist relationships and territory autonomy.

You will visit pharmacies, train staff, and support product listings while earning a base salary of 70,000 CAD plus a 2% commission. Travel mileage, a company phone and laptop, per diem, and vacation benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years field sales experience in pharmaceutical, natural health, or OTC products.
• Strong knowledge of Ottawa pharmacies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Dynamic, autonomous, and persuasive sales profile.
• Comfortable with in-person and phone-based sales; this role prioritizes traditional, relationship-driven selling over virtual meetings.

Responsibilities

• Regularly visit pharmacies to present and promote products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacists and pharmacy teams.
• Convince pharmacies to list, recommend, and reorder products.
• Train pharmacy staff on product features, benefits, and proper usage.
• Set up in-store presentation tools, including displays and point-of-sale materials.
• Ensure consistent follow-ups and prepare activity and performance reports.
