Job summary

Tolko is seeking a Product Coordinator for OSB at its Vernon, BC office. This role focuses on coordinating product supply, inventory, and relationships to maximize resources and ensure on-time shipments.

The ideal candidate has post-secondary education in business/forestry/manufacturing or equivalent, with strong communication skills, a self-starter attitude, and experience in Excel, Outlook, and basic accounting principles. Forestry knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter and collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset.
• Experience in customer experience, relationship and conflict management.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking; able to offer multiple solutions.
• Proficient in Outlook and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
• Understanding of general accounting principles.
• Knowledge of upstream/downstream supply chain structure.
• Experience using a sales system (AX or similar).
• Forestry or wood products knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and communicate product supply information to manage working capital and on-time shipment.
• Optimize value by using truck and rail capacity and rates effectively.
• Respond quickly and proactively to supply and demand shifts via market allocation processes.
• Apply problem-solving skills to suggest changes to orders when production cannot meet the order file.
• Liaise with sales and agents to align on customer requirements.
