Original Joe’s in Calgary is hiring a Line/Prep Cook to join a vibrant kitchen. You will prepare and cook dishes to specification, assist with prep, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Training is available for the right candidate with a passion for cooking and a commitment to quality. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to consistent menu execution.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person.
• A passion for cooking and creating consistently great dishes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to specification, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Assist in prepping ingredients and setting up stations, following recipes and kitchen guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Collaborate with your kitchen team, communicating effectively to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.
• Monitor food stock and supplies, assisting with inventory management and minimizing waste.
• Work efficiently to meet kitchen demands, ensuring orders are prepared quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance as required.
