Job summary

NB Power seeks an Organizational Change Readiness Specialist based in New Brunswick to lead adoption of changes across processes, technology, and roles. You will work with project teams to build readiness plans, deliver trainings, and enable employees to embrace new ways of working while maintaining a positive experience.

The role requires PROSCI or equivalent change management certification, and a bachelor’s degree in related fields.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in change management discipline (e.g., PROSCI) required.
• Understanding of project management approaches and phases.

Responsibilities

• Consult with business to understand impacts of project change and develop a Change Management Plan covering Stakeholder Engagement, Communications and Training.
• Develop Change Artefacts and ensure effectiveness of the OCR solution as reflected by stakeholder readiness/acceptance of the project changes.
• Coordinate with NB Power corporate marketing and communications for external communications plans.
• Execute change management plan during the project and participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.

Job description

Our client, NB Power, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Organizational Change Readiness Specialist based out of New Brunswick, Canada.

The Organizational Change Readiness (OCR) Specialist acts on behalf of NB Power and is responsible to play a key role on the team by increasing employee adoption of change initiatives that transform the work environment in areas such as business processes, technology, and job roles. The OCR Specialist will work to drive faster adoption of changes, increase employee enablement and proficiency, drive higher utilization and sustainment of changes that impact the organization, while ensuring a positive employee experience and engagement throughout.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• In conjunction with project manager, consult with business to understand impacts of project change and develop a project Change Management Plan inclusive of (Stakeholder Engagement, Communications and Training) to enhance adoption and business readiness to receive project outcomes.
• DevelopChangeArtefactsandtakeaccountabilityfortheeffectivenessofthe OCR solution, as recognized through project stakeholders' readiness/acceptance of the project changes.
• Liaison with NB Power corporate marketing and communications to ensure external communications are planned and executed.
• Executechangemanagementplanduringtheproject.
• Participate in project lessons learned and other continuous improvement activities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Professional certification in change management discipline, such as PROSCI or equivalent.
• Understandingofprojectmanagementapproachesandphases.

Education and Experience Preferences

• A minimum of five (5) + years of demonstrated experience leading the planning and execution of change efforts for technology adoption and digital transformation projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Public Relations / Marketing / Communications, Organizational Behaviour, Business, Liberal Arts, Human Relations, or equivalent.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal Background Check prior to commencing work.
