Job summary

Fresh Prep Foods Inc in Vancouver is seeking a reliable warehouse supervisor to oversee order picking, ensure FIFO, and meet KPI targets in a temperature-controlled facility between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius.

You will lead a team on shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm or 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, coach staff to hit schedule and accuracy goals, and maintain organized, safe operations daily. Extended benefits accrue after 90 days of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (13 kg).

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

You will be working your shift in an area where the temperature is maintained between 4-6 degrees Celsius (Yes, that is 4 degrees above freezing)

The main activity in this department is the picking of our customers' customized food orders and combining them together in a shipping container, sorted by our delivery drivers' routes

Meeting budget and KPI targets

Maintaining First In First Out (FIFO)

Ensuring Order Picking Schedule targets are being met or exceeded consistently, week after week

All KPIs are being consistently met, week after week

Flagging delays (as per the Order Picking Schedule targets each day)

Coaching and training team members to be aligned with Order Picking Schedule and Accuracy targets

Conducting record keeping, error checks and follow ups

Ensuring overall organization of the department consistently throughout the day

Ensuring policies and procedures are being adhered to consistently throughout the day

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or high-paced environment preferred

Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred

Able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines

Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment. The warehouse is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius

Able to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts

Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs. (13 kg)

What You Can Expect

Schedule: Thursday to Mondays from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (Position 1)

Schedule: Saturday to Wednesday from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Position 2)
