Job summary

Fresh Prep is hiring for a warehouse associate in Vancouver, BC. You will support daily operations, handle materials at a temperature-controlled facility, and help sanitize and sort items returned from customers.

The role includes standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 30 lbs, and working within a fast-paced environment to ensure on-time delivery of meals. We offer benefits after a probation period and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Comfort with working in a temperature-controlled warehouse (0°C to 10°C).
• Able to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 30 lbs (14 kg).

Responsibilities

• Operate in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment and follow safe work practices.
• Sanitize returned materials and assist with sorting and recycling for deliveries.
• Work on an automated sanitization line on either end of the process.
• Support daily operations to ensure accurate and timely product handling.

What You'll Be Doing

At Fresh Prep, every day can look a little different! While we are currently in a period of growth, our operations are becoming increasingly streamlined. Your first day may not look exactly like your third or tenth, but throughout your time with us you can expect to take part in a variety of tasks, including:

Working your shift in an area maintained at normal room temperature.

Sanitizing returned materials used for delivering products to our customers.

Sorting returned materials and recycling items received from customers when they are brought back by our delivery drivers.

Operating on our automated sanitization line, either at the loading (feed) end or the unloading (removal) end.

Following safe work practices and helping maintain a clean, healthy, and food-safe production environment.

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse operations, or a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced warehouse environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment, with warehouse temperatures maintained between 0°C and 10°C.

Able to remain on your feet for 8-hour shifts.

Capable of safely lifting items weighing up to 30 lbs (14 kg).

What You Can Expect

Hourly Wage: $20.23

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Position 1)

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Position 2)
