Job summary

Na-Freight-Forwarding-Inc is seeking a Warehouse Picker/Packer to support daily fulfillment operations at our Mississauga facility. You will read order sheets, pick, pack and ship orders, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation using RF technology.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in warehousing/3PL, strong organizational and communication skills, and good English proficiency. This is a hands-on role requiring physical stamina and adherence to SOPs.

  • Experience in warehousing and 3PL is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack and ship orders.
  • Receive, check-in and store stock accurately.
  • Read order sheets and pick lists.
  • Utilize RF technology to process orders (paperless).
  • Produce order labels and ensure pallets/boxes are correctly labeled.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and follow SOPs.
  • Perform duties as assigned by Warehouse Management.

Job Purpose:

To accurately select and prepare products for shipment by utilizing order sheets and RF technology. The role involves picking inventory, placing and arranging items in boxes or containers according to specified instructions, stacking and organizing cartons on pallets, inspecting items for damage, and verifying that correct products and quantities are picked and packed to ensure order accuracy and quality standards are met.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) by proactively contributing to initiatives that drive strategic goals and organizational success
  • Live our company core values and support a well-organized, respectful, and service-focused work environment
  • Work independently to pick, pack and ship orders
  • Receive, check-in and put away stock quickly and accurately
  • Replenish picking locations and unload trailers
  • Reading Order Sheets and Pick List correctly
  • Utilizes RF technology in all aspects of processing orders (paperless)
  • Utilizes our internal system to identify rack location of products
  • Produces order labels and ensures that all pallets and boxes are correctly labeled
  • Will take photos of packed goods, for documentation purposes
  • Maintain good housekeeping duties of the warehouse, throughout the day and at the end of the shift
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform all other assigned duties by the Warehouse Management

Professional & Educational Background:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Skills & Ability:
  • Experience in warehousing and 3PL industry is an asset
  • Experience with RF Scanner is an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including a good command of English in reading and comprehending written and verbal instructions
Effort & Working Conditions:
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that may weigh up to40 lbs.
  • Must be physically able to stand and walk around dock/warehouse for long periodof time and be able to bend, twist, climb and move about in small spaces, and reach for objects.
