Job summary

Canada Cartage is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, picking, packing, and shipping within a fast-paced warehouse. You will ensure accurate inventory handling, maintain a clean workspace, and follow safety procedures while meeting customer fulfillment timelines.

The role requires hands-on experience with RF scanners, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ideal candidates work well independently or in teams and are punctual and safety-focused.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience using RF Scanner.
  • Previous warehouse, fulfillment, or general labour experience.
  • Must be comfortable with repetitive lifting to 50lbs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately picking and packing items by using hand held RF Scanners
  • Verify the accuracy of items picked and inspect for damages or defects
  • Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping or delivery
  • Must be capable of performing tasks that involve repetitive lifting, carrying and moving of items up to 50lbs
  • Completing required documentation neatly and accurately
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines at all times
  • Housekeeping and other general warehouse duties

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. This role ensures the accurate handling of inventory, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and follows all safety procedures. The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting the efficiency of warehouse operations and meeting customer fulfillment timelines.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (3:30 pm to 12:00 am)
