Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled data developer to join our team in Canada. The role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines, with strong emphasis on MS SQL Server, SSIS, and data formats such as XML and CSV.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring teammates will be part of the job. Knowledge of banking/financial data processing is beneficial. You will work across on-site teams to deliver reliable data solutions and support the end-to-end data

Qualifications

• At least good years of experience in data development and/or relevant tools.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server and its tools; advanced SQL, stored procedures and functions.
• Hands-on knowledge of DTS or SSIS.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement and support data pipelines for applications.
• Review code changes and perform unit testing; support integration testing.
• Mentor junior developers and coordinate with offshore teams.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• At least good years of experience in data development andor relevant tools
• Expertise in MS SQL Server and its tools Advanced level knowledge on RDBMS and SQL. Proficient with Stored Procedures, Functions.
• Hands-on knowledge on DTS or SSIS.
• I worked on VB.NET scripting and have good knowledge on advanced concepts.
• Proficient with various data formats (XML, csv, fixed-length record, delimited) Working knowledge of GitLab, CICD and antifactory
• Understanding of Sorting, bundling and data aggregation Ability to provide accurate time, resource, and dependency estimates for MS SQL projects based on the business requirements.
• Knowledge of Banking document development lifecycle (data processing)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Banking and Financial Domain knowledge (Statements, Canadian Taxes, Cheque Processing)
• Ability to work individually with other teams integrating the components into the workflow. Work with offshore counterpart and team and resolve any issues
• Analyzing highly complex business requirements generate technical specifications to create data pipelines for applications Create templates for data file pre-processing, parsing and transforming.
• The best leverage industry and client practices to design, test, implement and support solution Review code changes for applications Perform unit testing of the application Support integration testing and quality assurance Debug end to end application flow for any errors and perform causal analysis.
• Mentor less experienced developers Trainees Have Daily sync-up call with offshore team and resolving any issues and supporting them Assist with creating standards and architecting new client solutions Work with other teams in integrating the components and running end to end flow

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
