Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Data Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure across our enterprise systems.

This role emphasizes data quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance within modern data architectures. You will work with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow), Python scripting, and multiple SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) in Unix/Linux environments to deliver scalable data

We are seeking a skilled Data Integration Developer to join our data engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure that ensure data quality, traceability, and compliance across our enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions using industry-standard tools to move and transform data across systems
• Data Lineage & Governance: Document and maintain comprehensive data lineage to track data flow from source to destination, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance
• Database Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and manage database operations using DDL, DML, DQL, and DCL commands
• Infrastructure Automation: Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline data operations and reduce manual effort
• Version Control: Manage code repositories using Git/GitHub, including branching, merging, and code review collaboration
• Unix Administration: Navigate and manage Linux/Unix environments for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting data systems
• Quality Assurance: Implement data validation checks and ensure data integrity throughout the pipeline lifecycle
• Proven experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow, or similar platforms)Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and data processing
• Hands‑on experience with multiple SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Solid understanding of data lineage concepts and best practices
• Competent with Git/GitHub for version control
• Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments
• Knowledge of SQL DDL, DML, DQL, and DCL operations

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
