What you will do
Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Oracle DevOps Fusion Finance Functional Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP functional processes within Subscription Billing (SMC), OTC (Order To Cash), HRMS/HCM, & User access provisioning, and Month end close processes, with a strong understanding of DevOps methodologies.
How you will do it
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Canada Security Oracle Fusion ERP system as a Team Lead.
You will be part of the Global Oracle DevOps Fusion OTC-PTF Value Stream supporting other Oracle Fusion ERP systems within JCI.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
You will implement DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
You will monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime as part of post-go-live operational support.
You will stay updated with the latest Fusion technologies and DevOps tools to drive continuous improvement.
You will provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
You will manage project timelines and stakeholder expectations effectively.
You will conduct system configurations, testing, and user training as needed.
You will manage the functional/technical team within the Value Stream.
The Oracle Fusion DevOps organization supports multiple Oracle Fusion instances within JCI. The Oracle Fusion DevOps Finance Functional Lead will be the single point of contact (SPOC) for this functional area stream for all development and support activities related to this track.
You will analyze Oracle Fusion enhancements/change requests and support activities pipeline.
You will work on planning and prioritization for approved backlogs within the Value Stream, reviewing with BPO/GPOs, Delivery Leads, and Solution Architects.
You will perform capacity planning of resources based on approved backlogs for enhancements and support tickets to meet delivery timelines.
You will coordinate with other Value Stream leads within Fusion DevOps, Delivery, and Support leads for other Edge applications within Fusion to address any integration issues in a timely manner.
You will oversee scheduling, reviews, and approvals for production deployments in collaboration with Global Deployment/Release leaders.
You will optimize and manage the backlog of enhancements and support tickets within the Value Stream, reviewing progress with the team.
You will drive continuous improvements to reduce support tickets and automate manual activities wherever possible.
You will follow Johnson Controls' Major Incident Management process to address critical issues (P1/P2) by engaging the appropriate teams.
You will share Value Stream level reporting with KPIs for the Value Stream with Global and Regional DevOps Leaders.
