Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a senior Oracle Financials lead to design and configure Oracle E-Business Suite R12 processes across R2R, P2P and O2C. You will work with finance leadership to deliver compliant, efficient operations and drive successful migration activities.

The role requires extensive hands-on configuration, data migration, integration with tax engines, and collaboration with CFO-level stakeholders. Remote capability supports cross-country engagement and rapid go-live support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Oracle Financials with hands-on EBS R12 experience.
• Hands-on Financials configuration: GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, SLA, Tax, Expenses.
• Experience configuring and supporting Oracle AR Auto Lockbox.
• Knowledge of integrating third-party tax engines with Oracle ERP (e.g., Vertex, Sabrix).
• Strong Oracle ERP customizations to meet business requirements.
• Solid understanding of multi-org, SLA, E-Business Tax, period close and reconciliations.

NTT DATA's Client is seeking a professional to lead the design and configuration of Oracle Financials in EBS, covering Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay (AP), and Order-to-Cash (AR) finance processes. The role involves working closely with finance leadership to deliver compliant, efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance design workshops covering enterprise structure, chart of accounts, ledgers, legal entities, business units, and intercompany.


• Configure General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Subledger Accounting, and Tax.


• Configure and support Oracle AR Auto Lockbox to automate high-volume customer payment processing.


• Work with third-party tax engines to integrate with Oracle ERP.


• Manage Oracle Payments integration with various banking partners for domestic and cross-border transactions.


• Design and configure intercompany, multi-currency, revaluation, translation, and consolidation processes.


• Support period-close process design and the financial reporting framework (FRS / Financial Reporting Center, Smart View, OTBI).


• Configure payment processes, bank statement reconciliation, and bank integrations.


• Prepare functional design documents and specs for RICEW objects, including GL, AP, AR, and FA conversions.


• Lead data migration for COA, suppliers, customers, open AP/AR, fixed assets, and GL balances using FBDI.


• Prepare and execute test scripts for SIT and UAT, and lead reconciliation activities during mock conversions and cutover.


• Map EBS financial setups and processes to Fusion during migration engagements.


• Train finance users and support go-live, first period close, and hypercare.

Required Skills

• 10 years in Oracle Financials with hands-on EBS R12 experience.


• Hands-on Financials configuration: GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, SLA, Tax, and Expenses.


• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Oracle AR Auto Lockbox.


• Proven knowledge of integrating third-party tax engines like Client ONESOURCE (Sabrix) or Vertex with Oracle ERP.


• Strong proficiency in Oracle ERP customizations and extensions to meet specific business requirements.


• Strong EBS R12 Financials knowledge including multi-org, SLA, and E-Business Tax.


• Solid accounting knowledge and understanding of period close, reconciliations, and audit/compliance requirements.


• At least 5 years experience with FBDI, Smart View, FRS, OTBI, and BI Publisher.


• Strong communication skills for working with CFO/controller-level stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• At least 2 full-lifecycle Fusion Financials implementations.


• Oracle Financials Cloud Implementation Professional certification.


• CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting qualification is a plus.


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; accounting qualification preferred.

Compensation

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $70/hr to $80/hr. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all Canada locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for NTT DATA's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Discount Perks.
