Job summary

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Oracle Functional Analyst for a 12 month contract role in Vancouver.

You will lead the analysis, documentation and delivery of financial solutions, drive Oracle implementations and upgrades, and collaborate with business users and IT teams to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle Finance applications (EBS and Cloud) in a consulting practice or business-critical environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Act as the primary IT contact to support end users of Finance applications and participate discussion with various business-area leaders.
• Evaluate new Oracle Finance components or other system applications, develop and maintain road map of recommended future initiatives to improve the efficiency of existing business processes.
• Diagnose system errors and work with the development team to provide accurate solutions and fixes.

Requirements

• A strong foundation in Oracle Finance applications, a solid understanding of contemporary systems and development methodologies, and the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. You’re a highly self-motivated, solutions-oriented professional who demonstrates leadership and adaptability while collaborating across teams to drive results.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing and/or supporting Oracle Finance applications (EBS and Cloud) in a consulting practice or business-critical environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle financial modules, including at least 3 in Cloud and preferably 2 in EBS: AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Purchasing, Projects, Advanced Collections, GL, Tax, and Accounting Hub.
