Job summary

Accenture Technology is seeking a highly skilled Onshore Oracle Finance Techno-Functional Lead to join our team in Canada. You will specialize in Oracle E-Business Suite Finance modules (GL, AP, Payables) and lead end-to-end projects with strong SQL/PL-SQL and Oracle Reports/Forms expertise.

The role requires managing L1.5 and L3 support, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement on client delivery. In-office presence in Victoria BC is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college program in a related discipline.
• 5+ yrs in Oracle application development: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, and Oracle Forms.
• Strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Payables.
• Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Hands‑on experience in managing L1.5 and L3 support activities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide techno-functional expertise in Oracle EBS Finance modules (GL, AP, Payables).
• Analyze requirements and translate into Oracle EBS solutions.
• Configure and customize Oracle EBS modules to meet client needs.
• Lead end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with business, developers, and testers for successful outcomes.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
• Oversee L1.5 and L3 support activities, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Mentor support teams and ensure SLAs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Act as liaison between business users and technical teams; report status and system performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and stay updated with Oracle technologies.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onshore Oracle Finance Techno-Functional Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with expertise in the Finance module, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Payables. This role requires proficiency in Oracle application development, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, and Oracle Forms. The candidate will also be responsible for project management, overseeing L1.5 and L3 support activities, and ensuring the successful delivery of technical and functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle EBS Expertise:

• Provide techno-functional expertise in Oracle EBS Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payables.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle EBS solutions.
• Configure and customize Oracle EBS modules to meet client needs.

Project Management:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and testers, to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Support Activities:

• Oversee and manage L1.5 and L3 support activities, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to support teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, support activities, and system performance.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

• This position requires in office presence at client location in Victoria BC, 1-2 days/
