Job summary

Talent Pool Builder seeks a Registered Nurse to join Windsor Regional Hospital's operating room team. You will deliver safe, ethical nursing care, monitor patient condition, document data, and participate in discharge planning and outcome evaluation.

Availability for all shifts and on-call duties are required. You will collaborate with the health care team, contribute to education and quality improvement projects, and uphold OHS standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent OR experience or OR certificate within the last 2 years - required
• Medical/Surgical experience - preferred
• Ability to communicate in French - asset
• Demonstrated mature, professional and responsible attitude
• Interest in education and quality improvement projects - asset
• Good interpersonal skills
• General good health and fitness for the role
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, ethical nursing care using the nursing process
• Monitor patient condition and document data for continuity of care
• Develop discharge plans and evaluate outcomes
• Guide and assist other health care team members
• Communicate patient care incidents appropriately
• Work shifts as scheduled and be on-call as required
