solis optics, a division of FYihealth group, is hiring an Optical Associate for a part-time position in Victoria. You will greet customers, assist with eyewear selection, coordinate appointments, and handle billing while supporting store operations. Optical experience is a plus, and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within a retail environment.
• Previous optical experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers, manage customer check-in and check-out.
• Engage with customers in person, by phone, and via email.
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts.
• Educate customers on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring optimal value and quality.
• Guide customers in selecting eyewear that combines style with optimal vision.
• Support frame and facial measurements alongside an Optician, ensuring proper fit and positioning of new eyewear.
• Assist with contact lens orders.
• Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience
• Support store operations by performing additional duties as required.

We're hiring to fill a current vacancy, join our team at Optiks International - Victoria - Uptown - partners of solis optics, as an Optical Associate!

This position is a part-time role working 20-29 hours per week. Our location is open Monday to Saturday.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome customers, manage customer check-in and check-out
