Job summary

solis optics, a division of FYihealth group, is hiring a Patient Services Specialist at the Jonathan Lenard Opticians location in Peel Region. This is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week with hours that include mornings and some evenings.

You will greet customers, check in/out, and handle calls, emails, and appointment scheduling. Ideal candidates bring retail experience, comfort with technology, and excellent communication skills.

We're hiring to fill a current vacancy, join our team at Jonathan Lenard Opticians - partners of solis optics, as a Patient Services Specialist! This is a full‑time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our location is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:30‑5:00, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:30‑6:00, Saturday: 9:30‑3:30.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome customers, manage customer check‑in and check‑out
• Engage with customers in person, by phone, and via email
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts
• Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience
• Support store operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi‑task and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with customers and providing exceptional experiences
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player, able to manage changing priorities effectively
