Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Burlington, ON is seeking a Laborer (Operator Terminal) to support loads and unloads over the road tanker transports, route trucks, barges and rail cars. You will operate tank transfers and heat/chemical processing of used oil.

The role offers a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule, full-time hours, and a benefits package including health coverage after 30 days and RRSP matching. Growth opportunities, paid training, and a positive work environment are provided.

Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to perform lab testing with training provided.
  • Ability to assist with dock planning and order picking.
  • Attention to accuracy in paper work and inventory counting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following safety policies and procedures.
  • Update IBC Workbench Daily.
  • Perform lab testing as needed (training provided).
  • Assist with dock planning and order picking.
  • Unload OTR tanker trucks and process inbound/outbound paperwork.
  • Read tanks and report inventory; count and label drums/pails.

Safety Kleen in Burlington, ON is looking for a Laborer (Operator Terminal)! The Laborer (Operator Terminal) is responsible for performing Loads and unloads over the road (OTR) tanker transports, route trucks, barges and rail cars. Operates tank transfers and heat and/or chemical processing of used oil.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Update IBC Workbench Daily
  • Lab testing (training provided)
  • Dock planning
  • Order picking
  • Unloading of OTR tanker trucks
  • Processing of paper work for inbound and outbound loads
  • Tank Reading and reporting inventory
  • Sample processing and Lab Testing
  • Filling operation of Totes, Drums and Pails
  • Inventory Count
  • Drums and Pail Labeling
  • Housekeeping
  • Other duties as required.
