Job summary

Clean Harbors Corunna, ON is seeking a Field Labourer to join our safety-conscious team. You will perform container turnaround/cleaning on site, act as flagman for landfill, and handle painting and housekeeping duties around the site.

Ideal candidates have a Full G license, prior industrial experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. Outdoor work in all weather conditions is required.

  • Willling to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate light and heavy equipment including water truck, forklift, road sweeper and back hoe.
  • Paint, and perform housekeeping of plant and yard.
  • Act as flagman to guide units and monitor landfill.
  • Clean Roll-Off Containers and other items.
  • Carry out other labour duties as assigned by supervisor.

Clean Harbors Corunna, ON is looking for a Field Labourer to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with container turnaround/cleaning on site, flagman for landfill dumps, painting, housekeeping and all other labour duties around the site.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Operate light and heavy equipment including water truck dust management, forklift operation, road sweeper and back hoe.
  • Painting, housekeeping of plant and all other general labour tasks;
  • Working as a flagman to help back units up and monitor the landfill;
  • Cleaning Roll-Off Containers and other items
  • All other labour duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Full G License required;
  • Previous industrial work experience required;
  • Previous experience in physically intensive labour role (i.e. Construction, Landscaping or Farming);
  • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day;
  • Willing to work outdoors in all type of weather conditions.
