Job summary

Clean Harbors in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking Class 3 P&V Operators to operate and drive the assigned unit and perform a variety of tasks for the client at Fort Hills.

This is a Union Local 362 Teamsters position with a 14/14 rotation, 12-hour days. Starting wages are CAD 30.70–33.15 per hour plus benefits, with camp and COLA for eligible employees. Comprehensive health coverage after 30 days, RRSP with company matching after 90 days, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Hydrovac, Combo and vac truck units required.
  • Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (proof required).
  • Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License with 18 speed manual transmission experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Health and Safety is the top priority by following safe work practices and policies.
  • Drives, operates and stages units.
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections.
  • Assist with job site preparation and staging equipment.
  • Maintains and updates driver’s logbook.
  • Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day.
  • Performs roadside repairs as required.

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Class 3 P&V Operators to join their safety conscious team at Fort Hills! You will be responsible for operating and driving the assigned unit and for performing a variety of jobs as dictated by the client.

Qualifications

  • Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License required with 18 speed manual transmission experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
  • Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
