Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking Seasonal Labourers to join our turnaround team on a temporary basis. You will safely perform labor tasks including confined space entry, rigging, heights, and high-pressure water blasting up to 40k PSI, with 100% travel for projects August–November 2026, potentially leading to a permanent role.

Training is provided on the job, and accommodations are arranged for travel. The role requires flexibility for day or night shifts and a Class 5 driver's license, with safety

Qualifications

• Class 5 driver's license is required.
• May require a 5-year driving abstract with no more than 3 demerits.
• Willing to work in confined spaces and at heights performing labor-intensive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate Wet Vac Straight Truck and Steam Truck.
• Perform basic labor tasks using hand tools and assist operators.
• Pre/Post Trip inspections; field level risk assessments; set up equipment; debris removal and cleanup.

Clean Harbors is looking for Seasonal Labourers to join our turnaround team on a temporary basis.

This position requires the candidate to safely perform labor tasks including, but not limited to - confined space entry working in vessels or tanks, rigging in and out, working at heights, high-pressure water blasting up to 40k PSI and assisting with job site preparation.

You would be supporting projects that will require 100% travel. Availability is necessary for training starting in August with projects spanning August to November 2026 with the potential to join our team in a permanent role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate one or more of the following equipment types: Wet Vac Straight Truck; Steam Truck Straight Truck;
• Perform all basic tasks assigned to a laborer including using hand tools (shovel, rake, vacuum hose, and pressure washer), mastering equipment operation, assisting operators with all job duties.
• Pre/Post Trip inspections; performing field level risk assessments; setting up equipment, ensuring proper usage of equipment, performing general duties required to complete work (Debris removal, clean up, set up, etc.).
• Responsible for safe operation of equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class 5 Driver's License required;
• May be required to provide a 5-year driver's abstract with no more than 3 demerits.
• Previous shutdown/turnaround experience is an asset.
• Must be willing to work in Confined Spaces and at heights performing labor-intensive tasks;
• Previous Vacuum Truck and/or High-Pressure unit operating experience is an asset;
• Previous labor-intensive experience;
• Safety Tickets preferred (i.e., H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined Space Entry);
• Common Safety Orientation required prior to onboarding.
• Willing to travel for extended periods and work 10-14 hour shifts (accommodations provided);
• Flexibility to work day or night shift as required;
