Job summary

Magna International is seeking a part‑time Auxiliary worker at our Mississauga facility. The role involves precision assembly and sub‑assemblies of small to medium units with liberal tolerances, placing parts on production machines, and performing assembly, fastening, and modification tasks along the line.

You will read simple blue prints, fit and adjust products to meet operating requirements, and utilize simple hand and power tools.

• Profile for Auxiliary or Temporary Part‑time (TPT) workers.
• Works on precision assembly or sub‑assemblies of small or medium sized units involving a number of parts or erection of larger units having a limited number of parts and fairly liberal tolerances.
• Places and removes parts into or onto various production machines.
• Performs assembly, fastening or other material modification operations on assembly line.
• Fits and adjusts products to meet operating requirements.
• Modifies parts using simple hand and power tools.
• Reads simple blue prints.
