Job summary

Magna Seating in Mississauga is seeking an Auxiliary or Temporary Part-time worker to perform precision assembly or sub-assemblies on small to medium units. You will place and remove parts on production machines, fit and adjust products to meet operating requirements, and use hand and power tools as needed.

Reading simple blueprints, modifying parts with basic tools, and ensuring quality through careful workmanship are essential.

Works on precision assembly or sub-assemblies of small or medium sized units involving a number of parts or erection of larger units having a limited number of parts and fairly liberal tolerances. Places and removes parts into or onto various production machines. Performs assembly, fastening or other material modification operations on assembly line. Fits and adjusts products to meet operating requirements. Modifies parts using simple hand and power tools.
