Job summary

Magna Cosma International in Mississauga is seeking an operator to set up and run press equipment, perform quality inspections, and document results. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards in an afternoon shift environment.

Holders of Grade 12 or GED and proficiency with MS Office are encouraged to apply; knowledge of press and welding equipment is an asset. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to interpret instructions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMS applications.
• Ability to work in a team and follow work instructions.
• Familiarity with safe press and weld operations (asset).

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up equipment and machinery as required.
• Operate presses and related machinery.
• Perform quality inspections per Control Plan (first-off, hourly, last-off).
• Document results and corrective actions as needed.
• Rotate and operate Transfer Press equipment as assigned.
• Complete Production Traceability Reports per station controls.
• Ensure parts meet quality and rate requirements; follow safety policies.
• Maintain safe work practices and report hazards promptly.
