Orica Canada is recruiting an Operator - MMU (Mobile Mixing Unit) for Mt Milligan, BC. The role requires coordinating machine operation and product handling while following safety procedures on a 14 days on / 14 days off schedule.

You will perform preventive maintenance, operate and position vehicles safely, and maintain thorough records. The position is based in Mt Milligan, BC, with a focus on reliability, teamwork, and safety.

Qualificações

• Class 3 License required.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to identify potential issues and solve problems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance and follow greasing schedules.
• Demonstrate safe lockout/tagout procedures and equipment controls.
• Safely operate and maneuver company vehicles on roads and sites.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of vehicles.
• Apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Complete regulatory, safety and administrative documentation.
• Prepare daily reports, logs and inspection records on time.
• Maintain organized records of daily activities and site documentation.
• Communicate operational issues to the supervisor promptly.

About the role - 40947 - Operator MMU (14 x 14) (Mt Milligan)

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Operator - MMU (Mobile Mixing Unit) within our Orica Canada team focused on ensuring production occurs on a timely basis following all safety procedures and taking a pro-active teamwork approach focused on coordinating assigned machine operation and product handling functions.

This position is based out of the Mt. Milligan, BC Canada.

Work Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off

What you will be doing

• Perform preventative maintenance and follow established greasing schedules, with particular attention to critical components and the proper cleaning and replacement of filters.
• Demonstrate safe and effective use of lockout/tagout procedures, safety systems, and equipment controls.
• Safely operate and maneuver company vehicles on public roads and customer sites.
• Maintain the cleanliness and condition of company vehicles, including vehicle interiors.
• Apply mechanical aptitude to identify potential equipment issues, troubleshoot problems, and take appropriate action.
• Accurately and thoroughly complete all required regulatory, safety, operational, and administrative documentation.
• Complete daily reports, logs, inspection records, and other required administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain organized records of daily activities, vehicle inspections, maintenance, deliveries, and site-related documentation as required.
• Communicate operational issues, equipment concerns, incidents, or reporting discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and attention to detail in both field and administrative responsibilities.
