Orica Canada is seeking an Operator – MMU at Goose Lake, Nunavut. Based at the Back River Gold District, the role involves operating the Mobile Mixing Unit and coordinating with the production team to ensure timely output while following safety procedures.

Work schedule is 21 days on / 21 days off with 12-hour shifts, days and nights. The successful candidate will have a Class 3 license, mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills.

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for aOperator – MMU (Mobile Mixing Unit)within our Orica Canada team focused on ensuring production occurs on a timely basis following all safety procedures and taking a pro‑active teamwork approach focused on coordinating assigned machine operation and product handling functions.

What you will bring

• Class 3 Drivers License Required
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to quickly determine potential issues and problem solve accordingly.
• Requires thorough and meticulous completion of regulatory paperwork
• Reliable and dependable.
• Flexible to fast changes as needed during production process.
• Entry level computer skills including Internet and Windows applications.
