Qualifications

• Must hold AZ / Class 1 license and have 3 years of driving experience.
• Must meet regulatory safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of the tractor trailer before, during, and after trips.
• Complete all applicable paperwork and maintain Driver Logs.
• Communicate with Dispatch and maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Be capable of physical work and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Operate satellite tracking equipment and comply with traffic regulations.

This position provides opportunity to be home daily while working overnight and weekend shifts. Drivers will be responsible for timely and secure local deliveries, completing vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing excellent customer service.

Position Summary

Operating tractor trailer equipped with multi-speed transmission (Automatic or Manual) safely by adhering to all safety requirements

What you'll do.

Perform inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment of tractor trailer unit before, during, and after trips, including gauges, lighting and electrical systems, and visual checks of potential water, oil, fuel and air leaks
Connect and disconnect semi-trailer hoses
Completing all applicable paperwork. Maintain up-to-date Driver Log throughout the duration of each shift.
Responsible for communicating with Dispatch.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
Be able to perform physical work at times (lifting in excess of 50lbs)
Use of satellite tracking equipment
Observing and complying with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act

Minimum Qualifications.

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. Age - 23 or older License - AZ / Class 1 Driver's License - 3 years driving experience
