Job summary

Next Youth Job is seeking a full-time Truck Driver in Vaughan, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections and safely transporting products to designated locations.

The role requires a Secondary school graduation certificate and an AZ class license. Candidates with experience in trucking will be preferred. The position offers an hourly wage of $36 and starts as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre/post-trip truck inspections.
  • Transport products to specified locations safely.
  • Verify order accuracy prior to delivery.
  • Complete daily driver logs and required paperwork.

  • Comply with all DOT and NSC regulations.

Duties:
  • Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditions.
  • Safely transporting the product to and from a specified location in a pre-determined sequence.
  • Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery.
  • Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, etc.)
  • Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other returned items.
  • Interacting with customers, dispatchers, other drivers, and warehouse personnel daily.
  • Complying with all DOT and NSC regulations.
  • Administer bills of lading manually or electronically
  • Operate and drive a tractor-trailer, long-combination vehicle.
