Job summary

CommerceLink Logistics ULC, a division of Canada Cartage, is seeking a tractor-trailer driver to deliver local loads from the Moncton yard. You will operate tractors with manual or automatic transmissions, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, complete paperwork, and maintain logs.

The role offers 48 hours per week, overtime opportunities, and benefits such as dental, health coverage, and life insurance. Candidates must be 23+, hold AZ/Class 1 license with at least 3 years driving experience,

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment before, during, and after trips.
• Connect and disconnect semi-trailer hoses and perform pre/post-trip checks.
• Complete all applicable paperwork and maintain Driver Log throughout shifts.
• Communicate with Dispatch and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Be able to perform physical work (lifting over 50 lbs) when needed.
• Use satellite tracking equipment and comply with transportation regulations.

This position provides opportunity to be home daily while working overnight and weekend shifts. Drivers will be responsible for timely and secure local deliveries, completing vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing excellent customer service.

Position Summary

Operating tractor trailer equipped with multi-speed transmission (Automatic or Manual) safely by adhering to all safety requirements.

Pay:

CA$30.09 per hour

What you'll do.

Perform inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment of tractor trailer unit before, during, and after trips, including gauges, lighting and electrical systems, and visual checks of potential water, oil, fuel and air leaks
Connect and disconnect semi-trailer hoses
Completing all applicable paperwork. Maintain up-to-date Driver Log throughout the duration of each shift.
Responsible for communicating with Dispatch.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
Be able to perform physical work at times (lifting in excess of 50lbs)
Use of satellite tracking equipment
Observing and complying with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act

Minimum Qualifications.

Age - 23 or older License - AZ / Class 1 Driver's License - 3 years driving experience
