Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Class 1 Driver to deliver products to chain store customers across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The role requires valid Class 1 licence, clean abstract and prior trucking experience.

Forklift certification and strong customer service skills are assets. Responsibilities include vehicle inspection, paperwork, cargo security, and maintaining positive customer relations, while adhering to safety, HACCP and DOT regulations.

• Computer skills are an asset.

Aufgaben

• Deliver products to chain store customers.
• Operate and drive tractor trailer; perform pre-trip inspections; verify loads and cargo security.
• Complete and organize paperwork for product deliveries.
• Establish and maintain harmonious relations with customers.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform tasks in a safe manner.
• Follow Department of Transportation regulations.
• Follow safety, quality and HACCP regulations and policies.
• Demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Salary & Benefits

• Weekly Minimum Pay: $1,331.43

Schedule & Working Hours

• Must be flexible to work 4-5 days/week as needed
• Must have open availability to cover all shifts, including overnights

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to chain store customers
• Operate and drive tractor trailer, perform pre trip inspections of vehicles, verifies loads and security of cargo
• Complete and organize paperwork associated with the delivery of products
• Establishes and maintains harmonious relations with customers
• Loading and unloading the trucks
• Performs tasks in a safe manner
• Follow Department of Transportation Regulations
• Follow all Safety, Quality & HACCP regulations and policies
• Teamwork and a positive attitude
• Other duties as assigned either by Management Staff
