Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly is Canada’s leader in last-mile logistics, operating across three continents with more than 100 sorting stations. We seek a hands-on supervisor to ensure safety, efficient shipping/receiving, and data-driven route planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management.
• Create and confirm driver bookings; generate route plans and communicate with optimization team.
• Conduct safety audits, warehouse checks and supervise warehouse traffic and vehicle movements.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to drivers and staff.
• Handle customer service issues and maintain high service standards.

Our vision is clear: to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable service powered by cutting-edge technology .Your Role: At the Heart of the ChainSalary Range.Core Duties :Safety and ComplianceEnsure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environmentEnforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.Supervise warehouse traffic, van audits and ensure safe vehicle movements.Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.Respond to emergencies as required .Cleaning, general housekeepingOperations and LogisticsOversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management.and package dispatching process.Conduct quality checkups on return pickups and return to the client process.Create/confirm driver bookings with relevant BPs.Generate the next day’s route plan and send optimization emails to the Optimization team.Conduct IDCs/Drivers check in/ out, loadingUnload trailers and verify freight against manifests.Assist with sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).Reporting and AdministrationMaintain accurate delivery, incident, and inventory logs, and submit comprehensive daily reports.Complete daily reports and submit to the clients, Station team and Manager (AMZ Daily Case report, Shift Handover, etc.).Audit Proof of Delivery (POD) reports and report back on compliance to IDC liaisonComplete daily timesheets and submit to the Station Manager.Perform data entry as needed.T eam leadership and Customer serviceAssign daily tasks to staff , monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with SOPsPrepare and monitor performance reports (on-time deliveries, exceptions, etc.).Provide coaching, support, and training to drivers and warehouse staff, including onboarding of new hires.Address delivery complaints, damages, or lost packages promptly.Ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction.Evaluate and assess employee performance, workplace conduct and compliance as required , including discipline where appropriate .Other duties as assignedWork Environment : Fast-paced warehouse setting with shift-based schedules.Why Join Intelcom | Dragonfly?Short- and medium-term growth opportunitiesComprehensive group insuranceGroup RRSP programEmployee Assistance Program…This position has been opened to address a genuine organizational need within the company.At Intelcom | Dragonfly , we move forward together.
