Job summary

TF Truckload & Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily trucking, yard, and warehouse operations, coordinating dispatch, routing, load planning, and material handling.

You will lead drivers and support teams, optimize fleet utilization and costs, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with maintenance, Safety, HR, and accounting to improve service delivery within the TF Energy Solutions Group of Companies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in trucking, transportation, yard, or warehouse ops.
• Experience with pipe transportation and/or over‑dimensional loads is a plus.
• Proven leadership of operational teams.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance.
• Experience with TMS/ELD/WMS and SAP MM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily trucking, yard, and warehouse operations, including dispatch, routing, load planning, and material handling.
• Lead, coach, and develop drivers, dispatchers, yard personnel, and warehouse teams.
• Optimize fleet utilization, equipment availability, labour, and costs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards across operations.
• Monitor KPIs and collaborate with Safety, HR, Maintenance, and Accounting.

As the Operations Supervisor, you will oversee daily transportation, yard, and warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement and storage of materials. This hands‑on leadership role requires strong operational expertise, the ability to lead multiple teams, and experience in specialized transportation, including pipe hauling and over‑dimensional loads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily trucking, yard, and warehouse operations, including dispatch, routing, load planning, and material handling.

• Lead, coach, and develop drivers, dispatchers, yard personnel, and warehouse teams.

• Optimize fleet utilization, equipment availability, labour, and operational costs.

• Supervisewarehouse operations, inventory control, and yard organization.

• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, hours‑of‑service requirements, and safety standards.

• Coordinate equipment maintenance and operational readiness.

• Resolve operational challenges and customer service escalations.

• Monitor operational KPIs, including on‑time performance, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost control.

• Collaborate with Safety, HR, Maintenance, and Accounting to support business objectives.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, processes, and service delivery.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3years of experience in trucking, transportation, yard, or warehouse operationsis required

• Experience with pipe transportation and/or over‑dimensional loads is required

• General warehousing experience is required

• Proven leadershipexperience supervising operational teams

• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, fleet operations, and safety compliance

• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), electronic logging devices (ELDs), and warehouse or inventory management systems

• Strong organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills

• Experience managing operational budgets and performance targets

• Knowledge of SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) is considered an asset
