Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly in Charlottetown, PEI seeks a Warehouse Associate to handle safety, shipping, receiving, and daily reporting in a fast-paced environment. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring compliance with SOPs, and delivering excellent customer service.

Shift is Fri-Mon, 4:00am–2:00pm, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a leading last-mile logistics company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, inventory management and package dispatching.
• Conduct quality checks on returns and verify freight against manifests.
• Maintain accurate delivery, incident, and inventory logs; submit daily reports.
• Supervise warehouse traffic, van audits and ensure safe vehicle movements.
• Provide coaching, training to drivers and warehouse staff, including onboarding.
• Address delivery complaints and ensure high service standards.

Salary Range $48,125.00 - $60,156.50 .

Core Duties

• Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
  • Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.
  • Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.
  • Supervise warehouse traffic, van audits and ensure safe vehicle movements.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Respond to emergencies as required.
• Cleaning, general housekeeping
• Operations and Logistics
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, inventory management and package dispatching process.
  • Conduct quality checkups on return pickups and return to the client process.
  • Conduct IDCs/Drivers check in/out process.
  • Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
  • Assist with sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).
• Reporting and Administration
  • Maintain accurate delivery, incident, and inventory logs, and submit comprehensive daily reports.
  • Complete daily reports and submit to the clients, Station team and Manager (AMZ Daily Case report, Shift Handover, etc.).
  • Audit Proof of Delivery (POD) reports and report back on compliance to IDC liaison
  • Complete daily timesheets and submit to the Station Manager.
  • Perform data entry as needed.
• Team leadership and Customer service
  • Assign daily tasks to staff, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with SOPs
  • Prepare and monitor performance reports (on-time deliveries, exceptions, etc.).
  • Provide coaching, support, and training to drivers and warehouse staff, including onboarding of new hires.
  • Address delivery complaints, damages, or lost packages promptly.
  • Ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and assess employee performance, workplace conduct and compliance as required, including discipline where appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned
