Job summary

Badger Infrastructure Solutions, a Canadian leader in non-destructive hydro-excavation, seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safety, onboard/train operators, and provide client service.

Role supports daily scheduling, project bidding, and business development, with a focus on maintaining excellent operator documentation and client communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Vacuum/Pump Trucks, Underground Construction, Trucking/Fleet Management, Sewer/Water, Underground Utilities, Waste or Equipment Rentals.
• CDL is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Mechanical skills are preferred.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Computer skills and organization, with Oracle or similar system.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispatching units and scheduling projects daily.
• Communicate with clients with a customer service focus daily.
• Assist with project bids and proposals.
• Support and improve business development on a daily basis.
• Review operators’ daily paperwork (Daily trip tickets, FLRA, DOT logs).

The Operations Supervisor is an integral part of the operations team. They oversee many aspects of the day-to-day operations including but not limited to ensuring the operators follow proper safety protocol, onboarding and training new operators, and customer service to clients.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, base salary.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with dispatching units and schedule projects on a daily basis
• Communicate with clients, with a customer service focus on a daily basis
• Assist with project related biddings and proposal
• Support and improved business development on a daily basis
• Reviewing operator’s daily paperwork (Daily trip ticket, FLRA, DOT logs)

What You'll Need For Success

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience required in one of the following industries: Vacuum / Pump Trucks, Commercial Underground Construction, Trucking/Fleet Management, Sewer / Water Line, Underground Utilities, Waste, Equipment Rentals.
• Valid CDL preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Mechanical skills preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Computer skills and strong organizational skills required, with a preference for Oracle or similar system.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.
