Beyond Energy Services and Technology Corp. is seeking a Shop Technician Level 1 in Canada. You will support the shop and yard operations, perform maintenance tasks, and assist with inspections and documentation using SiteDocs.

The role emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork in a dynamic MPD environment. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a shop setting, strong mechanical aptitude, and valid driver’s license.

Competenze

• 1–2 years’ experience in a shop environment.
• Mechanically inclined with practical problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• First Aid certification.
• Fall arrest and Forklift certifications.

Job Description

As the Shop Technician Level 1 you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our facility and equipment maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard.
• Utilizing SiteDocs daily to complete all required forms
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD related equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and repairs of RCD equipment
• Assist in the shipping and receiving of MPD/RCD equipment.
• Assist in Receiving on orders from vendors
• Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.
• Inspect all RCD equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.
• Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.
• Assist Shop Foreman with day-to-day tasks as required.
• Assist Operations team with RCD equipment maintenance as required.

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a shop environment.
• Mechanically inclined and able to implement mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Required Certifications:
• Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract
• First Aid
• Fall arrestForklift
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and procedures, mechanical tools and equipment
• Able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines requiring minimal supervision.
• Organized, dependable and action orientated.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).

The compensation for this role will be in the range of $22 to $25 per hour.
