Job summary

Canada Cartage Group is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Mississauga, Ontario. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, quality, and inventory accuracy while leading warehouse team members and supporting proactive operational plans for receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of warehouse supervision experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with WMS and Excel.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
• High school diploma.
• Experience operating counterbalance and end-rider power jacks.
• Strong computer and keyboard skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse team members and drive performance.

Warehouse Operations Supervisor

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for achieving company objectives related to safety, efficiency, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy. This role is focused on leading warehouse team members and supporting proactive operational plans related to receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Location:Mississauga, Ontario

Schedule:Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

What you will do

• Lead employee management and development for warehouse team members
• Engage employment agency regarding temporary labour
• Train and coach employees on WMS systems and act as a subject matter expert
• Work closely with staff on all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations for the assigned account
• Help drive goals, targets, productivity, and performance standards
• Conduct regular formal employee reviews and informal feedback discussions for staff within area of responsibility
• Act as the first point of contact for customer concerns and provide exemplary customer service
• Ensure KPIs are achieved for customers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure employees are trained and aware of all standard operating procedures and best practices
• Run various operational reports, including labour planning for the team
• Support inventory accuracy through follow-up on discrepancies, product movement, and warehouse processes
• Promote and enforce safe work practices and ensure team members follow company policies and warehouse safety procedures
• Create a positive, productive, and safe working environment

What You’ll Bring

• 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity
• High school diploma
• Previous experience on counterbalance and end-rider power jacks
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel
