Job summary

CHANEL Yorkville is seeking an Operations Manager for the Flagship Boutique in Toronto. You will oversee boutique operations to maximize productivity and deliver an elevated client experience.

You are the SOP, systems and tools expert, responsible for inventory integrity, after-sales service, cash procedures, budget forecasting and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational and communication skills, with in-store presence and the ability to lift up to 20

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of leadership experience in retail operations and/or stock management.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work across departments.
• Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop store teams.
• Requires in-store presence and ability to lift 15–20 lbs.
• Fluent English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee boutique operations and SOP adherence.
• Manage cash procedures including opening, balancing, closing and invoice retention.
• Oversee shipping and receiving and ensure parcels processed within 24 hours.
• Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts, RFID, and year-end inventory.
• Lead alterations and after-sales process including repairs and lead times.
• Create and manage boutique invoices and support budget forecasting.
• Lead change management projects and train staff on systems and SOPs.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendors, and staff uniforms.
• Coach and develop the heart-of-house team and uphold safety procedures.

Summary

The Operations Manager at the CHANEL Flagship Boutique in Yorkville oversees boutique operations to maximize productivity and deliver an elevated client experience. This role is the expert on Standard Operating Procedures, systems and tools, responsible for inventory integrity, after‑sales service, cash procedures, budget forecasting and team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee boutique operations and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, systems and tools.
• Manage cash procedures including opening, balancing, closing and invoice retention.
• Oversee shipping and receiving, ensuring parcels are processed within 24 hours.
• Maintain and improve inventory integrity through Cycle Counts, RFID and Year End Inventory; organize stock to optimize sell‑through.
• Manage RTW alterations and lead the Chanel et Moi after‑sales process including repair intake, lead times and minor in‑store repairs.
• Create, maintain and manage boutique invoices and support budget management and forecasting.
• Lead change management projects, act as a resource and trainer for the boutique team on systems and SOPs.
• Coordinate boutique maintenance, vendors/contractors and manage staff uniforms and image standards.
• Coach, inspire and develop the heart‑of‑house team and ensure adherence to health, safety and security procedures.
