Job summary

CHANEL CANADA ULC. is seeking a Cashier to perform cashier and administrative duties across the Boutique and Head Office, upholding CHANEL standards of service, product knowledge, presentation and teamwork.

Role includes handling transactions, stocking, packaging, and delivering exceptional client service while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with multiple departments to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Successful experience of at least 1-3 years in customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; strong organization and follow-up skills.
  • Willingness to work retail business hours including weekends and flexibility to business demands.

Responsibilities

  • Process transactions at Cash stations accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure Cash and Wrap stations are prepared and stocked as needed.
  • Prepare packaging and assist with gift wrapping parcels as required.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to Clients, Boutique Management and Head Office.
  • Document client messages accurately and relay to Fashion Advisors promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of CHANEL's commercial activities and internal affairs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet business needs.

Your role @ Chanel:

As a Cashier, you will effectively perform cashier and administrative duties in support of a variety of assigned functions required for the Boutique (Front and Heart of House) and the Head Office, while maintaining the CHANEL standards of excellent customer service, product knowledge and care, personal presentation, and teamwork at all times.

What impact you can create at Chanel:
  • Help process transactions at Cash stations precisely and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring Cash and Wrap stations are prepared and stocked as needed
  • Prepare packaging and assist with gift wrapping parcels as needed
  • Always provide the highest level of customer service to colleagues, including prompt response to requests from Clients, Boutique Management and Head Office
  • Accurately document messages from clients and deliver to Fashion Advisors on a timely manner
  • Establish and provide strong client relationships when answering the phones by responding promptly and appropriately to all internal and external queries and ensuring that all clients are kept informed as appropriate
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and management within own and other Boutiques, as well as with CHANEL Head Office as required
  • Apply a helpful and courteous manner towards all colleagues, remaining reliable, supportive and flexible as the business demands
  • Ensure absolute confidentiality of the Company’s commercial activities and internal affairs at all times

What you will bring to the role:

Successful experience of at least 1-3 years in customer service. Retail operations and/or phone customer service is an asset; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Strong organization and follow-up skills (essential); Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Willingness to work retail business hours which include weekends and flexible to business demands, including some out of hours as required; Comfortable working with different departments and teams; Fluent in English, French or an additional language is a plus.

Competitive base salary of $56,500kCAD annually + bonus, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
