Savanna Well Servicing Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead field operations across Western Canada from Leduc, AB. The role reports to the General Manager and involves hands-on leadership at rigs sites and field offices.

You will manageField Supervisors, drive safety performance, and oversee budgets, AFEs, and client relations while traveling across Western Canada to ensure profitable, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in well servicing/oilfield with Field Superintendent experience.
• Experience leading regional/multi-site operations.
• Proven safety leadership and reliable performance track record.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel across Western Canada.
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.

Responsabilités

• Lead regional operations with a focus on safety, utilization of rigs, and profitability.
• Develop and mentor Field Superintendents, Coordinators, and Field Supervisors.
• Hire, coach, and grow senior field talent across sites.
• Ensure each site has people, equipment, and NSC-compliant materials.
• Promote a strong safety culture and work with HSE on standards and investigations.
• Own the numbers: review P&L, manage budgets, and prepare AFEs.
• Represent Savanna with clients on location and resolve concerns.
• Participate in audits and industry meetings (CAOEC).

Are you a seasoned well servicing leader who has run a region, built strong crews and kept operations safe and profitable? Savanna Well Servicing is looking for an Operations Manager to lead our field operations across Western Canada. You’ll report to the General Manager and have the authority to make real decisions about safety, performance and people.

This role is hands-on. You’ll be on rig sites and at field offices regularly, working with your Field Superintendents, our clients and our crews.

Supervision Received:

Reporting to the General Manager, and other management from time to time.

Summary of Duties (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following):

• Lead regional operations with a focus on safety performance, rig utilization and profitability
• Lead and develop Field Superintendents, Coordinators and Field Supervisors
• Hire, coach and grow senior field talent
• Make sure each worksite has the right people, equipment and materials, and keep the fleet maintained and NSC-compliant
• Champion a strong safety culture where every worker feels safe to speak up, working with HSE on standards and investigations
• Own the numbers: review P&L, manage the operating budget and submit AFEs
• Be the face of Savanna with clients on location, building relationships and resolving concerns
• Represent the company at audits and industry meetings (CAOEC)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 10–15 years of well servicing or oilfield experience, including time as a Field Superintendent
• Proven experience as a Regional or Area Manager, or in a similar multi-site leadership role
• A strong safety record and credibility to lead by example
• Strong communication and organizational skills, and a drive for results
• Willingness to travel often across Western Canada
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
