• Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor project performance, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify risks and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track.
• Mentor and support field staff while fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for field employees.
• Resolve workplace conflicts and provide coaching to strengthen team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all field operations across multiple construction projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Superintendents on project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor project performance, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify risks and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track.
• Mentor and support field staff while fostering accountability and teamwork.

Client & Business Development

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners.

People Management

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction industry experience, including operations or construction management.
• 5+ years as a Site Superintendent or in a senior field leadership role managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and construction documentation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with Procore, Sage, or similar construction software is an asset.
• BCIT Technologist Diploma, bachelor's degree, or relevant trade/construction management education is preferred. PMP or other industry certifications are considered an asset.
