Job summary

Napsteel in Surrey, BC, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and support a growing customer service team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in operations, strong process improvement and people leadership, plus proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

You will optimize workflows, manage staffing and vendor relations, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, management, administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of business operations, process improvement, and performance management.
  • Organized, efficient, and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated & able to problem solve within a fast paced, constantly growing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, approachable and a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
  • Lead, support and manage employees while ensuring a positive, productive, and accountable work environment.
  • Develop, implement, and improve operational policies and procedures.
  • Establish performance goals and monitor team performance.
  • Identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, workflow and resource allocation.
  • Monitor operational expenses and optimize operational costs.
  • Coordinate with management and other departments to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, health and safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Oversee vendor, supplier, and service-provider relationships as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure operational documentation is current and organized.

Napsteel is seeking a motivated Operations Manager to join our customer service team in our Surrey location.

Responsibilities
