Goldbeck Recruiting seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and inventory performance while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate combines hands‑on leadership with strategic thinking in a high‑volume, discrete manufacturing environment. A formal engineering degree is required, with MBA considered an asset.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of progressive operations experience within manufacturing or related settings.
• 3–5 years in plant, manufacturing, or operations leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; MBA or equivalent is an asset.
• Hands-on experience in multi‑process discrete manufacturing with complex production.
• Proven success improving productivity, throughput, inventory, and on‑time delivery.
• Strong people leadership with accountability and culture development.
• Experience leading change, transformation, and continuous improvement.
• Strong customer orientation and understanding of operations’ impact on service.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and warehouse operations to execute production plans and meet customer requirements.
• Drive improvements in productivity, throughput, capacity utilization, and overall efficiency.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and daily performance‑management routines.
• Coordinate production, material flow, warehousing, and logistics activities.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives and solve problems using root‑cause methods.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Translate operational improvements into measurable cost savings and service performance.
