Job summary

HUNGRY is seeking an Operations Manager to own day-to-day catering, delivery, and event operations in a Canadian market. You will coordinate a network of Captains (often contractors) and lead hub operations, staffing, and safety compliance to deliver flawless client experiences.

The role requires 2–3+ years in operations within catering, hospitality, or logistics, plus hands-on event management and people leadership. Travel within the market and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3+ years of experience in an operations role, preferably in catering, food service, hospitality, or logistics.
• Experience directly managing and developing employees.
• Experience planning and coordinating a contractor-based workforce.
• Hands-on experience with live event execution and logistics management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport catering equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of catering, delivery, and event operations across the assigned market.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage Captains and support staff to ensure on-time, accurate execution.
• Oversee hub readiness, inventory, and vendor relationships to support daily operations.
• Monitor service quality in real time and flag operational risks before they affect clients.
• Track market-level metrics and report to the National Director of Operations.
