Job description

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics

• Support the development, testing, and improvement of reporting systems, using tools such as Bazefield and Power BI
• Build and refine dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to support operational visibility and strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand reporting needs and ensure data is accurate, timely, and actionable
• Assist in developing performance and cost analysis tools to compare and evaluate renewable technologies
  
  

System Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor trends in Bazefield and other Asset Management system data; investigate anomalies and coordinate with field operations as needed
• Support actionable improvements to site operations in efforts to improve controllable downtime, safe operations, or generation efficiencies
• Recommend and support improvements to data quality, dashboard usability, and system performance
  
  

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Contribute to process optimization efforts, including documentation, training materials, and standardized workflows
• Support data entry, configuration, and deployment of enhancements within Asset Management systems
  
  

Audit & Compliance Support

• Assist with internal audits of reporting and Asset Management systems, and help communicate findings and follow-ups
• Uphold all aspects of BEAM's Health, Safety & Environmental policies, practices, and programs and work to ensure that all activities are administered with the same care and requirements such that occupational accidents, injuries, and other hazards related to BEAM's activities are minimized and/or avoided
• Uphold BEAM's values and consistently enhance the image and reputation of the Company

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related discipline) required
  
  

Experience

• Five years experience in renewable energy operations
• Exposure to wind, solar, and hydroelectric generation environments is preferred
• Solid understanding of low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems and equipment common to renewable energy facilities
• Proficient in working with reporting applications, databases, and data visualization tools (experience with Bazefield and Power BI strongly preferred)
• Hands-on experience developing or enhancing reporting solutions, including the use of scripting or programming languages (such as Python, SQL, or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to reporting systems and asset management processes
