Apply locations Rosslyn, Ontario Timmins, Ontario North Bay, Ontario Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id R25882 GFL is looking for a operations and project coordinator to join and support our Emergency Response team in Northern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track ER projectsandmaintain all information required on the Spill Summary for each BU daily

  • Assist ER Managers with scheduling remediation jobs with clients

  • Communicateandupdate customers as needed with job information, invoice questions, requesting PO’s, etc.

  • Set up of new customers in OMS

  • Provide daily cost updates for ongoing projects

  • Obtain acceptance at local landfills or GFL disposal facilities for waste from spill cleanups

  • Organize 3rdParty requirements as needed

  • Obtain permits if required. ie) encroachment permits with MTO, local municipality permits

  • Create quotes for ER response cleanupsandremediation jobs

  • Request Purchase Orders from AP for subcontractorsandmaterials purchased

  • Maintain project files on the S drive as well as in OMS

  • Maintain up to date CSA Master Pricing Templates for contract customers.

  • Invoice each ER projects forBU’s including any interco required to other BU’s

  • Manage ER Staff expenses/receipts in Workday as their delegate

  • Complete all month end requirements. Addressing unbilled work orders, complete spill summary, prepare next month’s spill summary, etc.

Knowledge, skills and competencies:

  • Post-secondary education, college / university degree preferably in a related area of study.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a corporate environment in a Project Coordinator/Administrative.

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

  • Demonstrated excellence within a highly administrative role with extreme attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone, in-person, and through email.

  • Excellent skills using MS Office Suite

  • Ability to multi-task while balancing several work projects at the same time.

  • Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong awareness of confidentiality within the workplace.

  • Extremely organized in his/her approach to document control and administrative functions.

  • Must be a highly motivated, service minded and team-oriented individual.

  • Must be flexible and willing to perform other duties as required

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

  • Valid G Class license
