Job summary

Mattamy Homes Canada is seeking an Operations Analyst/Specialist in Mississauga, Ontario, with a hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office). You will develop dashboards and analytics across Construction, Procurement, Customer Care and Warranty to drive operational excellence.

The role requires 3+ years in a related field, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and a data-driven mindset to support business decisions and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational reporting, dashboards and analytics across Construction, Procurement, Customer Care and Warranty.
• Analyze performance, costs and trade partner data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Validate and maintain key operational metrics through QA reviews and data governance.
• Support enterprise reporting processes, including Master Scheduling, AVID, Conciliation and integration monitoring.
• Investigate and resolve data, reporting and system issues; improve processes and user experience.
• Provide analytical support for procurement and trade partner management via reporting.
• Coordinate issue triage and stakeholder communication related to BuildPro vendor payment and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reporting enhancements and improve data quality.

In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally across Construction, Procurement, Customer Care and Warranty to strengthen reporting, improve processes and help drive operational excellence within a fast-paced homebuilding environment.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain operational reporting, dashboards and analytics that provide actionable insights across Construction, Procurement, Customer Care and Warranty.
• Analyze business performance, costs and trade partner data to identify trends, risks and opportunities that support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Validate and maintain key operational metrics through quality assurance reviews and ongoing data governance activities.
• Support enterprise operational systems and reporting processes, including Master Scheduling, AVID, Conciliation and integration monitoring.
• Investigate and resolve data, reporting and system-related issues while partnering with stakeholders to improve process effectiveness and user experience.
• Provide analytical support for procurement and trade partner management through vendor utilization, cost and performance reporting.
• Coordinate issue triage and stakeholder communication related to BuildPro vendor payment and operational process concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reporting enhancements, improve data quality and support business decision-making.

What you’ll bring

• Post Secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in administration, operations, reporting or analytical support role within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including the ability to create and work with formulas, analyze data and generate reports.
• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and analytics tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, investigate issues and support data-driven decision-making.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• High attention to detail and committed to data accuracy and quality.

Bonus points

• Experience working in residential construction, homebuilding, customer care, procurement or warranty operations.
• Experience with BuildPro, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics or similar enterprise business systems.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with data validation, quality assurance processes and operational performance reporting.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $57,500 – 87,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.

You are also eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
