We are currently recruiting for an Operations Analyst to join our Supply Chain organization. This is an on-site role located in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Manager, Inventory Planning & Business Analytics, the Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and supporting governance management systems through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Governance :
- Creation of analytics and reporting / dashboards to support a governance management system and increase operational efficiency within Supply Chain.
- Collect, integrate, and analyze various datasets to produce business performance reports and identify risks and issues on team projects to ensure delivery, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.
- Provide the Supply Chain team with on-demand data analysis & reporting.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate recurring progress and impact reporting in compliance with Organization governance and management systems.
- Create and maintain a database of key performance indicators.
- Engage fully with DHC’s metric-based performance management system.
- Resource for questions, exception messages, and functionality issues generated from the ERP system.
- Create and maintain the ERP training documentation and Quick Reference Guides.
- Serve as the focal for ERP uploads and developing / maintaining the scripting process.
Documentation :
- Support the documentation of policies, standards, process maps, and procedures to support standardization and governance.
- Support the development of content for supply chain documentation.
- Identify gaps in process, technology, and people and map improvement opportunities and collaborate with Supply Chain leaders to design and implement improvement opportunities.
- Work with various functions to solve business problems through process mapping and alignment sessions.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, and / or extensive experience in supply chain.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business analytics / project management.
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- A working knowledge of Power BI or similar software.
- Experience with process mapping, technical writing, and developing work instructions for supply chain.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, demanding, and deadline-driven environment.
- Purchasing and / or Procurement experience is an asset.
- Lean Six Sigma experience is an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
